Syrah Around the World

The Syrah grape originated in the Northern Rhone region, and has since successfully spread around the world (and is called Shiraz in Australia).  Each area in which Syrah has thrived has given the wine its own unique characteristics, while retaining the basic character of this versatile varietal.  Paul Jameson of the Jameson Wine Experience will lead you through a blind tasting of eight Syrah-based wines from around the world, and we'll explore what each region has to contribute to "Syrah-ness."Text Box: Light appetizers will accompany the flights.
